Anne Caroline Chausson takes Megavalanche gold

French downhiller Anne Caroline Chausson has added another trophy to her enormous stash following her win at the Megavalanche in Alpe d’Huez this weekend. Chausson crossed the finish line of the race nearly four minutes ahead of silver medallist Tracy Mosely and Anka Martin rounded out the podium with bronze.The race which forms part of the Avalanche Cup begins on the glacier at an altitude of 3300m with participants battling their way through the snow before making their way down to the sun baked berms of the alpine valley.
